Ireland - Not such a"Free" state - (2)

Following on from the blog about Darren - (Ireland) - Not such a free state! - i have delved deeper into what exactly is going on.
It appears that the HSE have issued a circular stipulating that patients with medical cards should only be provided with emergency dental care! This means that hundreds of medical card holders will be denied a range of routine treatments including fillings, extractions, the provision of dentures and treatment for gum disease.
Effectively people who are unable to pay for treatment are being excluded from the healthcare system. An absolute disgrace and no doubt in breach of every citizens rights.
I am meeting with Colin Bell tomorrow to discuss my concerns, and indeed my anger with this ruling.
If humanly possible I will go as far as to bring this issue to the European Court of Justice.
You may also be aware that the government are introducing a bill to cut single parent benefit. Single parents will no longer be able to claim this benefit once their children reach the ripe old age of 13.
Another attack on the most needy in society. Another abomination.
It is surely time to rise up and show this government that these aggressive attacks on the most needy in society will no longer be tolerated!

Toluna.com FAQ's

When you order your vouchers you will see that N/A (Not available) is printed where the delivery time should be.
If you scroll down on the home page to FAQ's, (You can find them on the home page at the very bottom beneath country listings), then click on the link, scroll down to the heading 'Toluna Points, Reward partners and prize draws' you will find the estimated delivery time for vouchers. It states here that you will probably have to wait eight weeks before your vouchers will arrive!
The question still remains as to why it takes eight weeks. Why not two weeks, or at the very latest four weeks.
Toluna members spend a lot of time filling out surveys (That is the ones they are allowed to complete, as you have to fulfil the criteria)! and have a very limited response time to complete them before they expire. Since a quick response is required from Toluna members, why not an equally quick response from Toluna's side?
Toluna make a lot of money out of the work contributed by its members. (Remember that this a business not a charity, and the rewards are a payment, not a donation!)
It is therefore my view that Toluna should put a bit more effort into speedy timely responses. This is no more than Toluna expects from its members.
